Grants and subsidies for training

Our administration team will help you to apply for grants and subsidies for workers and unemployed. Course can be fully or partially subsidised.

• Once a week, 1,5 or 2 hour class.
• B2 level recommended.

Exam preparation

• Setting a clear objective motivates the student to invest more time and energy in the learning process.
• Expert teachers.
• 3 hours minimum per week.
• Oficial exam preparation:
  • English: Cambridge PET, FCE (First) and CAE (Advanced) exams.
  • French: DELF and DALF exams.
  • German : Goethe-Institut exams.

Telephone classes

Languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Chinese.

• Mainly directed at people who, for profesional reasons, are unable to attend regular classes.
• Consists of one or several 15-minute telephone calls per week.
• Mainly focused on speaking and listening skills.
• Topic based learning, very often related to the student’s profession.
• Follow-up feedback email by teacher, with comments, grammar exercises, corrections, suggestions etc.

Skype classes

• Aimed at people who are unable to commit themselves to a fixed timetable.
• We offer complete timetable flexibility while always completing a set amount of classs per month.
• 1 hour class but we can adapt to the student’s needs.

• We offer technical and business language courses, between 6 and 30 hours depending on the content.
• Example of course content: telephone calls, giving a presentation, participating in meetings, machine tool terminology etc.

Private classes ‘one to one’

• Totally personalised course content. Student and teacher design the course objectives according to the individual needs of the student.
• Example of course content; exam preparation, how to give a presentation in German, how to draw up a contract or write a report in English, techniques for improving telephone calls in French etc.

Blended Learning

Languages: English, French and German.

• A mix of ‘face to face’ classes and ‘self study’, using internet resources to complement the classes.
• The students have a weekly ‘face to face’ encounter, mininum 1 hour per week, with the tutor.
• The tutor acts as a guide and identifies the tasks to be done by the students on the internet, CDs, listenings, podcasts, You Tube etc.
• Use of modern self-study methods (blended learning) also used.

ENGLISH

ILS have been in collaboration with ES 438 Deba-Duranguesado Authorised Centre of Cambridge Exams for almost 20 years. In this time more than 300 of our students have taken a Cambridge exam and the invaluable experience that we have acquired in preparing students for these exams has made us experts in KET, PET, FCE (First), CAE (Advanced) and CPE (Proficiency) exam preparation.

Summer camps for children

Language: English.

ILS offers a wide choice of summer camps for children between the ages of 8 to 14 years. There are camps to suit all tastes, each one offering a unique cultural and activity programme combined with English classes. Here are some of our camps:

Santo Domingo de la Calzada: an English camp that includes activities like swimming, paintball, hill-walking, archery, rock-climbingetc. The kids also participate in excursions, craft workshops, drama, music, and night parties!

Camp Rialp, Andorra: this camp takes place in the Euro Esquí Hotel and offers different activity programmes to suit all tastes. The kids can sign up for golf camp, kart camp, football camp, dance camp and many others. All of the camps have language classes in the mornings.
